Before co-founding Pospisil Swift, Matt began his career working for a Kansas City defense firm, where he represented clients in medical malpractice, legal malpractice, premises liability, construction, and commercial litigation cases.

His time at the firm provided him with valuable insight into the strategies used by defense firms and insurance companies. Matt now uses that insight to obtain maximum recoveries for clients. Matt next joined Edgar Law Firm LLC, a litigation boutique specializing in bet-the-company commercial litigation and class-action litigation. There, Matt gained further experience in prosecuting claims on behalf of businesses and entrepreneurs. Matt’s commercial-litigation experience ranges from representing local entrepreneurs in business divorces to representing national and international companies in matters with eight-figure damage claims. He has also worked on a wide range of local and nationwide class-action matters, including wage and hour and consumer-protection claims.

Matt’s courtroom experience includes multiple jury trials, and he has represented clients in state and federal courts throughout the country, including courts in Kansas, Missouri, Texas, and California.
